The difference between Corona and the common cold or influenza?
A runny nose, cough, and sore throat, accompanied by a fever, seem to be symptoms of influenza, and people often hope that it is a passing cold, but today it may be a coronavirus infection.
The difficulty lies in diagnosing the cause of the infection, whether it is viral or bacterial.

As for the Corona virus, the medical staff does not have any protective vaccine, and if the virus hits a medical institution at the level of a hospital, for example, this will necessitate the closure of the hospital and the placement of all its staff in quarantine, which will lead to the deprivation of thousands of people from its services.
It is common among people, especially through social media, to use masks to prevent disease, and it has recently been rumored that the use of these masks is binding on the person infected with the virus in order to limit its transmission to others.
However, there are shades about this use, especially since experts confirm that the virus does not fly through the air, but is transmitted through droplets, or touching contaminated surfaces such as door handles, windows, and car doors.
Doctors and specialists stress the need not to use antibiotics when suffering from any suspected symptoms of corona, because “antibiotic” does not affect viruses, but only kills germs, and has many harmful side effects on the body’s immune system and beneficial bacteria in the human body.

الفرق بين كورونا ونزلات البرد أو الإنفلونزا؟
رشح وسعال وآلام في البلعوم ترافقها حمى، يبدو أنها أعراض الإنفلونزا، ويأمل الناس غالبا أن تكون نزلة برد عابرة، لكنها اليوم قد تكون إصابة بفيروس كورونا.
الصعوبة تكمن في تشخيص سبب الإصابة هل هو فيروسي أم جرثومي.

"COVID-19" وجود علائم فيروس الإنفلونزا المألوف، لكن ما هي علامات كورونا تحديدا؟
في العادة تنحصر هذه الأعراض في التالي:

كما أن هناك أعراضاً نادرة قد تظهر لدى بعض المصابين ومنها: بلغم في الصدر، صداع، سعال دموي، واسهال.
ولكن تشخيص الفرق بسهولة بين المرضين عسير جدا حتى على الأطباء لشدة التشابه بين الأعراض.
ولدى أغلب المصابين بفيروس كورونا، تظهر أعراض خفيفة أخرى، وأحيانا لا تظهر أي أعراض في البداية، لاسيما وأن الفيروس بنسخته الجديدة يمر بمرحلة كمون (سبات) قد تصل إلى اسبوعين طبقا لتقرير صدر عن معهد روبرت كوخ الطبي الالماني
وحسب بعض الأطباء ومنهم طبيب ألماني تحدث إلى معد هذا التقرير، فإنّ الفرق الجوهري بين الأنفلونزا وبين فيروس كورونا الجديد، يكمن في أن الكادر الطبي والتمريضي يملك كل عام نسخاً من اللقاحات الواقية من إصابات الانفلونزا، تمكنه من علاج المصابين بهذا الفيروس دون أن ينتقل إليهم من المصابين،
أما في حال فيروس كورونا، فلا تملك الكوادر الطبية أي لقاح وقاية، واذا أصاب الفيروس مؤسسة طبية بمستوى مشفى على سبيل المثال فسوف يستوجب ذلك إغلاق المشفى وإيداع كل كادره في الحجر الصحي ما سيؤدي إلى حرمان ’لاف الناس من خدماته.
ويشيع بين الناس وخاصة عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي استعمال الكمامات للوقاية من المرض، وقد شاع مؤخرا أن استخدام هذه الكمامات ملزم للمصاب بالفيروس كي يحد من انتقاله إلى الآخرين،
ومع ذلك هناك ظلال حول هذا الاستخدام، لاسيما أن الخبراء يؤكدون أن الفيروس لا يطير عبر الهواء، ولكنه ينتقل عن طريق الرذاذ، أو لمس السطوح الملوثة كمقابض الأبواب والشبابيك وأبواب السيارات.
ويؤكد الأطباء والمختصين على ضرورة عدم استخدام المضادات الحيوية عند الإصابة بأي أعراض يشتبه في أنها أعراض كورونا لأن "الأنتي بيوتيك" لا يؤثر في الفيروسات، بل يقتل الجراثيم فحسب، وله تأثيرات جانبية ضارة كثيرة على نظام المناعة في الجسم وعلى البكتريا المفيدة في بدن الإنسان.
