German calls for openness to Asian alternative medicine
While the medical field is witnessing great progress and continuous discoveries to eradicate diseases and understand their nature and causes, experts have called for the need to open up to traditional Asian medicine and take advantage of the possibilities it offers to treat some diseases.
Opening up to traditional medicine coming from China, Tibet, Nepal and India is one of the most important recommendations of the Ninth International Conference on Traditional Asian Medicine, which is being hosted by the German city of Kiel. German experts recommended the doctors of the Western Medical School to open up to traditional Asian medicine. And politicians from the Free Democratic Party called for allowing patients to choose the treatment they want within a legal framework that guarantees the safety of patients, warning at the same time against the increasing standardization of medical rules and focusing more when choosing the type of treatment on the economic and financial aspect, which may lead to a loss of communication between Doctor and patient.
Experts pointed out that Asian medicine relies on the powers of self-recovery in humans, as it has an integrated vision that European health systems can learn from this system, and not only focus on the patient's physical condition, but also benefit from the mental, social and spiritual aspects as auxiliary elements in treatment.
In the same context, Professor Angelka Messner of the Center for Chinese Medicine at Kiel University said, "Asian medicine has new solutions in the treatment of pain in particular, as well as in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and osteoporosis." Professor Ralph Schneider, from the Future Science Medical Center, called for a study of whether brown algae and seaweed contain effective substances for treating eye pain. He added that there is currently an obsession among researchers to search for active substances freely.
On the other hand, Professor Detlev Ganten from the Charité University Hospital in Berlin confirmed that treating blood pressure by taking pills is an example of the limitations of this treatment, adding that he treats himself by changing his stressful lifestyle to focusing more on sports and cycling. and reduce working hours.
In a related context, the researchers stressed that Western medicine is undergoing a major transition towards traditional medicine. Professor Ganten emphasized that education and nutrition as well as movement are among the three most important measures of health. In this regard, he said, "The lectures of this department (alternative medicine) have become one of the most preferred lectures for students." He added that the difference between the ways of thinking in different civilizations is one of the most important obstacles that stand in the way of using Asian medicine. "There is no truth, not even a scientific fact, there are only possibilities," he said.
It is worth noting that the Ninth International Conference on Traditional Asian Medicine is held from the seventh of August to the twelfth of the same month. This year, more than 350 specialists from about 50 countries will participate.

دعوات ألمانية للانفتاح على الطب الآسيوي البديل
فيما يشهد المجال الطبي تقدما كبيرا واكتشافات مستمرة للقضاء على الأمراض وفهم طبيعتها وأسبابها، أطلق خبراء دعوة إلى ضرورة الانفتاح على الطب التقليدي الآسيوي والاستفادة من الإمكانيات التي يُتيحها لعلاج بعض الأمراض.
الانفتاح على الطب التقليدي القادم من الصين والتبت ونيبال والهند من أهم توصيات المؤتمر الدولي التاسع للطب الآسيوي التقليدي، الذي تحتضنه مدينة كيل الألمانية. وأوصى خبراء ألمان، أطباء مدرسة الطب الغربي بالانفتاح على الطب التقليدي الآسيوي. وطالب ساسة من الحزب الديمقراطي الحر، بالسماح للمرضى باختيار العلاج الذي يرغبون فيه في إطار قانوني يضمن أمن المرضى ، محذرين في الآن ذاته من تزايد التوحيد القياسي للقواعد الطبية والتركيز أكثر عند اختيار نوع العلاج على الجانب الاقتصادي والمالي، وهو ما قد يؤدي إلى فقدان التواصل بين الطبيب والمريض.
وأشار خبراء إلى أن الطب الآسيوي يعول على قوى التعافي الذاتي لدى الإنسان ، حيث يمتلك رؤية متكاملة باستطاعة أنظمة الصحة الأوروبية التعلم من هذه المنظومة ، وعدم التركيز فقط على الحالة الجسمانية للمريض بل أيضا الاستفادة من الجوانب العقلية والاجتماعية والروحية كعناصر مساعدة في العلاج.
وفي نفس السياق، قالت الأستاذة الجامعية أنغيلكا ميسنر من مركز الطب الصيني بجامعة كيل إن " الطب الآسيوي لديه حلول جديدة في علاج الألم بشكل خاص، وكذلك في علاج الشلل الرعاش وهشاشة العظام ". فيما دعا البروفيسور، رالف شنايدر، من مركز "فيوتشر ساينس" الطبي إلى دراسة ما إذا كانت الطحالب البنية والأعشاب البحرية تحتوي على مواد فعالة لمعالجة آلام العين. وأضاف أن هناك في الوقت الحالي هوسا بين الباحثين بالبحث عن مواد فعالة بحرية.
من جهة أخرى، أكد الأستاذ دتليف جانتن من مستشفى "شاريتيه " الجامعي في برلين أن علاج ضغط الدم عبر تناول الأقراص مثال على محدودية هذا العلاج، مضيفا أنه يُعالج نفسه من خلال تغيير أسلوب حياته الذي يغلب عليه الضغط العصبي إلى التركيز أكثر على الرياضة وقيادة الدراجة وتقليل مواعيد العمل.
وفي سياق ذي صلة، شدد الباحثون على أن الطب الغربي يمر بعملية انتقال كبيرة نحو الطب التقليدي. وأكد الأستاذ جانتن أن التعليم والتغذية بالإضافة إلى الحركة من أهم ثلاث مقاييس للصحة. وقال في هذا الصدد " أصبحت محاضرات هذا القسم ( الطب البديل ) من أكثر المحاضرات تفضيلا لدى الطلاب " وأضاف أن الاختلاف بين أساليب التفكير في الحضارات المختلفة من أهم العوائق، التي تقف أمام استخدام الطب الآسيوي. وقال "ليست هناك حقيقة، ولا حتى حقيقة علمية، هناك فقط احتمالات".
جدير بالذكر أن المؤتمر الدولي التاسع للطب الآسيوي التقليدي، يُعقد من السابع من آب / أغسطس حتى الثاني عشر من نفس الشهر، و يعرف هذه السنة مشاركة أكثر من 350 متخصصا من نحو 50 دولة.
