Regarding the most common diseases that she treats in her clinic, Al-Shammari said, “The most diseases that were treated in my clinic and were completely cured are cancerous diseases, both visible and hidden, as they were treated by cauterization with dough. But the alternative treatment ended their suffering without entering into the repercussions of surgery and radiotherapy. We also succeeded in treating cases of infertility by cupping and march (which is to apply a specific cream to the lower abdomen in a way known to the doctor), and there is another treatment for obesity and skin diseases. And she adds about how to determine the appropriate type of treatment for the patient, saying, “The type of treatment is determined by the initial examination of the patient, where his health condition is first known and then the appropriate type of treatment is determined for him. The appropriate type of disease after its initial examination, and then determining its locations in the body according to the type of complaint, for example, chest diseases are performed in locations in the chest and back, and internal diseases are on the abdomen and lower back, and in the absence of treatment for diagnosis, the patient is directed To read the Qur’an, especially for cases of touch, eye and magic, for which there is no cure in alternative medicine.” Al-Shammari estimates the cost of cupping treatment at about 400 riyals ($106) per session, as the session includes determining the pathological sites, and the treatment requires two sessions, ranging between 20-30 days, provided that the treatment is repeated again. Al-Shammari recommends that patients not respond to any therapist unless he is a specialist and a student of cupping and alternative medicine, because there are those who practice cupping randomly, which led to this type of treatment giving a bad reputation in the beginning.

وتضيف الشمري، أن علاجها يلاقي إقبالا كبير لم تكن تتوقعه، نتيجة الفاعلية التي وجدها المرضى من جراء العلاج بالحجامة والكي بالعجين، حتى أنها أصبحت تستقبل مرضى مصابين بمرض السرطان. مضيفة، أن فاعلية علاجها امتدت الى اسرتها، حيث عالجت أحد ابنائها من ربو شديد كان يعاني منه عن طريق الحجامة في مواقع محددة في الصدر والظهر. وعن تجربتها في هذا المجال تقول الشمري «منذ افتتاحي لهذا النوع من العلاج وأنا أستقبل أعداداً كبيرة من المرضى أعالجهم بأدويه بديلة عن الجراحات والعقاقير الكيميائية عن طريق العلاج بالطاقة والكي بالعجين والأعشاب وانظمة الماكروبتيك والطب اليوناني، وقد خدمني في ذلك تخصصي الطبي وإعدادي الأكاديمي اللذان مكناني من تشخيص حالة المريض ومعرفة نوع العلاج المناسب له».
وعن اكثر الأمراض التي تعالجها في عيادتها ذكرت الشمري «أن أكثر الأمراض التي تم علاجها في عيادتي ولاقى علاجها شفاء تاما هي الأمراض السرطانية الظاهر منها والمخفي، حيث تم علاجها عن طريق الكي بالعجين، وكان اغلب المرضى الذين تم علاجهم قد قرر لهم الأطباء استئصال الورم، لكن العلاج البديل انهى معاناتهم من دون الدخول في تداعيات الجراحة والعلاج الاشعاعي، أيضا نجحنا في علاج حالات من العقم بالحجامة والمرخ (وهو دهن موقع اسفل البطن بدهان معين وبطريقة معروفة لدى الطبيبة)، وهناك علاج آخر للسمنة والأمراض الجلدية.
وتضيف عن كيفية تحديد نوع العلاج المناسب للمريض بقولها «ان نوع العلاج يحدده الفحص المبدئي للمريض، حيث تتم معرفة حالته الصحية أولا ومن ثم تحديد نوع العلاج المناسب له، وهناك نوعان من الحجامة منها الرطبة (التي يستخرج منها الدم) والأخرى الجافة، حيث يتم تحديد النوع المناسب للمرض بعد الفحص المبدئي له، ومن ثم تحديد مواقعها فى الجسم حسب نوع الشكوى، فأمراض الصدر على سبيل المثال يتم عمل الحجامة لها في مواقع في الصدر والظهر، والأمراض الباطنية تكون على البطن وأسفل الظهر، وفي حال عدم وجود علاج للتشخيص فيتم توجيه المريض لقراءة القرآن، وبخاصة لحالات المس والعين والسحر، التي لا يوجد لها علاج لدى الطب البديل».
وتقدر الشمري تكلفة العلاج بالحجامة بنحو 400 ريال (106 دولار) للجلسة الواحدة، حيث تشمل الجلسة تحديد المواقع المرضية، والعلاج يتطلب جلستين المدة بينهما تتراوح بين 20 ـ 30 يوماً، على أن يعاد العلاج مرة أخرى. وتوصي الشمري المرضى بألا يستجيبوا لأي معالج إلا اذا كان مختصاً ودارساً للحجامة وللطب البديل، كونه يوجد هناك من يمارس الحجامة بشكل عشوائي مما أدى إلى إكساب هذا النوع من العلاج سمعة سيئة في البداية.
