قال بيان للمركز المصري لدعم وحماية الدواء إن هدف وزير الصحة من بلاغه للنائب العام لفتح التحقيق في وفاة الأطفال بحضانات مستشفي المطرية التعليمي، هو إبعاد المسئولية عن شخصه ومنصبه.
وطالب أيمن رابح مدير الجمعية المصرية للدفاع عن ضحايا الإهمال الطبي بإقالة الدكتور حاتم الجبلي وزير الصحة من منصبه باعتباره المسئول الأول عن إدارة المستشفيات العامة والتعليمية، محملا إياه المسئولية عن وفاة الأطفال الأربعة، ساخرا من حصول "المطرية التعليمي" علي لقب "المستشفي النموذجي" العام الماضي-حسبما ذكرت البديل.
وتقدم سيد فتحي، المحامي، ومدير مؤسسة الهلالي للحقوق والحريات ببلاغ إلي النائب العام يطالب فيه بفتح تحقيق عاجل حول الواقعة، ويلقي بالمسئولية علي كل من الأمين العام للهيئة العامة للمستشفيات والمعاهد التعليمية، ومدير مستشفي المطرية التعليمي، ورئيس وحدة الأطفال المبتسرين بالمستشفي، وطاقم التمريض والأطباء.
واستند فتحي في بلاغه إلي شريط فيديو يحوي وقائع وفاة الأطفال نتيجة لما وصفه بالإهمال الجسيم للقائمين علي المستشفي، مؤكداً أن الواقعة تشكل جريمة مكتملة الأركان طبقا لنص المادة 238، التي تعاقب علي القتل الخطأ الناتج عن الإهمال والرعونة وعدم مراعاة القوانين واللوائح والأنظمة، والإخلال الجسيم بما تفرضه أصول المهنة، وتصل عقوبتها إلي الحبس سبع سنوات إذا نشأ عن الفعل وفاة أكثر من ثلاثة أشخاص، وطالب بفتح تحقيق عاجل في الواقعة.
