The Congenital Heart Disease Project is a large, independent scientific study with a population base that relies on two main groups, the group with congenital heart disease and the healthy group, for the purpose of practical comparison and deriving research results for the causes of congenital heart disease from genetic or environmental factors or both.

Given the scarcity of medical research in this field, the team decided to focus on the subject of scientific research in order to reach the scientific truth and know the causes of congenital heart diseases, most of which are of unknown causes, in the hope that the research will fill large knowledge gaps and contribute to the human effort to reach what is Congenital heart defects in order to prevent it early or abort it, as well as alleviating the medical, psychological and economic suffering of congenital heart diseases.

Mechanism of Action
Al-Abdulqader refers to the mechanism of action that began in 1425 AH and continues for five years. الدكتور عبد الله العبد القادر رئيس الفريق يجيب عن تلك التساؤلات وغيرها.
دراسة ضخمة
فيقول بدأ المشروع في 1/9/1425هـ وتقوم بتمويله مدينة الملك عبد العزيز للعلوم والتقنية.
فمشروع أمراض القلب الخلقية عبارة عن دراسة علمية ضخمة مستقلة ذات قاعدة سكانية تعتمد على مجموعتين رئيسيتين هي المجموعة المصابة بأمراض القلب الخلقية ومجموعة الأصحاء لغرض المقارنة العملية واستخلاص النتائج البحثية لمسببات أمراض القلب الخلقية من عوامل جينية أو بيئية أو كليهما.
البحث العلمي
ونظراً لندرة الأبحاث الطبية في هذا المجال فقد ارتأى الفريق التركيز على موضوع البحث العلمي لكي يتم من خلاله التوصل للحقيقة العلمية ومعرفة مسببات أمراض القلب الخلقية التي في معظمها تكون مجهولة الأسباب على أمل أن يسد البحث ثغرات معرفية كبيرة وأن يساهم في حلقات الجهد البشري للوصول إلى ماهية تشوهات القلب الخلقية لكي يتم منعه مبكراً أو إجهاضه،وكذلك تخفيف المعاناة الطبية والنفسية والاقتصادية لأمراض القلب الخلقي .
الاستفادة الطبية
ويضيف أنه ثبت من الأبحاث أن تغيير نسبة أنواع معينة من أمراض القلب الخلقية بتغيير البيئة الجغرافية في مناطق مختلفة من العالم ولقد أكد الباحثون أن تجمع نوع معين من الأمراض القلبية في منطقة بعينها قد يكون له دلالة سببية هامة.
إضافة إلى الحاجة الماسة لصانعي القرار في المملكة لمثل هذه الأبحاث ذات الدلالة البيئية والجينية لكي يستفاد منها في توزيع وتصنيف الخدمات الطبية لمرضى القلب في المناطق المختلفة.
توفير معلومات
وعن الأهداف الأساسية للمشروع يقول العبد القادر هي توفير معلومات عن نسبة حدوث أمراض القلب الخلقية في المملكة،ومعرفة الأنواع المختلفة ونسبة حدوثها منفردة أو مع تشوهات الأعضاء الأخرى،وكذلك تحديد العوامل الجينية والبيئية لأمراض القلب الخلقية في المملكة إضافة إلى تدعيم صانعي القرار بمعلومات ذات طابع علمي للاستفادة منها في الخطط المستقبلية.
آلية العمل
ويشير العبدالقادر إلى آلية العمل التي بدأت منذ العام 1425هـ وتستمر لمدة خمس سنوات ،ففي البداية تتم معرفة (عوامل الخطر الجينية والبيئية) عن طرق جمع معلومات عن عوامل الخطر المذكورة وذلك بدارسة الأمراض الموروثة والتشوهات الخلقية في عائلة الطفل المصاب ووالديه ،وكذلك التاريخ المرضي وطريقة المعيشة لكلا الوالدين وما يمكن أن يكونوا قد تعرضوا له في المنزل والعمل والاستفادة من المعلومات المجموعة بالتحليل الإحصائي.
مسح شامل
بعد ذلك تتم دراسة جميع الحالات المصابة من بين المواليد والأحياء ويتم ذلك عن طريق مسح شامل للمناطق الشرقية والوسطى والقصيم وحائل وسيكون المسح في النهاية لجميع المصابين في السنة الأولى من العمر في هذه المناطق كمرحلة أولى ثم تستكمل في باقي المملكة.
وسيكون التعرف المبدئي عن طريق العلامات والأعراض المرضية للطفل في المراكز الصحية ومراكز الولادة المنتشرة في المملكة دون استثناء حيث سيتم تقسيم مناطق البحث في مرحلته الأولى إلى المنطقة الشرقية والشمالية الشرقة،منطقة الرياض ،منطقة القصيم وحائل.
فحوص كاملة
فالأطفال المصابون أو المشكوك في إصابتهم سيتم إجراء فحوص كاملة لهم حتى يتم التوصل إلى تشخيص تشريحي سليم لهم عن طريق التاريخ المرضي وإجراء الفحص السريري وعمل أشعة للصدر مع تخطيط كهربائي للقلب،وإجراء قسطرة قلبية أو العمل الجراحي إن دعت الحاجة لذلك.
مراحل البحث
وأوضح العبد القادر إلى أن البحث يمر بثلاث مراحل هي المرحلة الإعدادية ومرحلة جمع المعلومات إذ ستقوم مجموعة من الفريق بجمع معلومات اجتماعية طبوغرافية وطبية وتناسلية وجينية وكذلك معلومات عن طرق المعيشة والبحث عن عوامل بيئية معينة ،وسيتم إعطاء أهمية خاصة لدراسة زواج الأقارب ومدى تأثيره على إنتاج أطفال مصابين، وأخيراً مرحلة إدارة المعلومات وإيجاد علاقة سببية بين مرض القلب الخلقي من نوع معين وعوامل الخطر.
فائدة المشروع
وأشار إلى الاستفادة المرجوة من المشروع إذ سيكون لها تأثير كبير على الخطط المستقبلية المتعلقة بأمراض القلب الخلقية وإلى إيجاد روابط علمية بين البيئة والإنسان ،وعلى المستوى الإقليمي سيكون المشروع لبنة مهمة في تكوين فكرة علمية عن تشوهات القلب الخلقية و مساهمة فعالة لجهود آخرين في الغرب لإثراء المعرفة الإنسانية بالجديد في هذا المجال.
كذلك سيكون بداية قوية قائمة على أسس علمية راسخة للبحث العلمي في هذا المجال في السعودية،إضافة إلى استفادة العديد من الجهات كوزارة الصحة والداخلية والتخطيط والمستشفيات بشكل عام.

إحصائية
أمراض القلب لدى الأطفال نوعان خلقي وآخر مكتسب ،وأكدت دراسات أنه في كل سنة يولد من 8 الى10 أطفال في الألف مولود مصابون بمرض القلب الخلقي وقد تختلف هذه النسبة من مكان لآخر ،وبالنسبة للمنطقة الشرقية والمنطقة الوسطى نفس النسبة إلا أنه قد يصل وفي حالات نادرة من 11 الى 13 مولودا في الألف.

( ان مرض الام يؤكد مرض الطفل أثناء الحمل وبعد الولادة .)

وقلنا ان الطفل لا يمكن بحال أن يمرض بأي مرض وهو تحت سن البلوغ الا اذا كانت الام مريضة.
والمؤثر الوحيد في كمية المرض أو كمية التشوهات الخلقية التي تصيب الطفل هو حالة الام الصحية طول فترة الحمل بالطفل
فاذا كانت اثناء فترة الحمل مريضة ومنهكة وضعيفة فاعلم
أن طفلها سيولد معاقا أو مشوها بأي شكل من اشكال الاعاقة أو التشوه سواء كان في أعضاء داخلية أو أعضاء خارجية .
أما اذا كانت الام طول فترة الحمل غير ذلك وفي صحة جيدة ولم تعاني
من أي شكوي مرضية فاعلم أن الجنين سيكون بصحة جيدة ولا تصيبه أي تشوهات خلقية داخلية أو خارجية أبدا .

واخراج المواد الغريبة التي اختلطت وتداخلت في تكوين جدار وعضلة وانسجة وخلايا القلب وأحدثت هذا التشوه
فهل سيتمكن جهاز الطفل المناعي من بناء ونمو اوعية وانسجة جديدة وطبيعية بدل الانسجة والخلايا التالفة مسببة التشوه في القلب؟
فهذه العملية خاضعة فقط للتجربة العملية .ونحن نعتقد أنها ستفيد الطفل افادة صحية بالغة
ومن الممكن علاج علي الاقل 50 % من مشكلة التشوه للاعضاء الداخلية اذا كانت مرتبطة بالاعصاب والخلايا العضلية
الموجودة عند الطفل وليس العظام.
ونلفت انتباه حضراتكم بأنه لا توجد أنواع مكتسبة من هذا التشوه للقلب نهائيا فجميع التشوهات للقلب خلقية

ولا توجد عوامل أخري لا بيئية ولا جينية ولا زواج أقارب ولا التدخين ولا الخمور
ولا طريقة المعيشة واسلوب الحياة ولا الاغذية فليس لكل ذلك
ادني تأثير يذكر في صناعة هذا التشوه لقلوب الاطفال نهائيا ولا لصناعة اي نوع من الامراض في جسم الانسان
فلا تجعلوا هذه الزوايا والدهاليز الغربية الكاذبة تعرج بكم وتبعدكم
بعيدا عن الصواب وعن أفضل الطرق وأسرعها في الوصول الي الحقيقة وبالتالي العلاج السريع والحقيقي للمشكلة .
