A health official in Fayoum was surprised when he confirmed during a session of the local people's council in Fayoum that most of the juice shops in the governorate use jerrycans in dialysis centers, which could be contaminated with the COP virus, to store juices.
Representative Farid Ismail had submitted an interpellation to Dr. Hatem Al-Gabali, Minister of Health, about the spread of liver diseases in Egypt in an epidemiological manner. The deputy accused the government of failing to control the disease, and said that the cases of infection, fibrosis, and death had reached record numbers that threatened Egypt's national security.
The explanatory memorandum of the interpellation, which will be included for discussion after the government presents its annual program before the Council, revealed that the incidence of liver disease is 25% of the total population.
And a high rate of infection reached cirrhosis and cancerous diseases, and liver diseases ranked first among diseases after it was ranked seventh, and the disease became very easy through shaving, dentists, and blood transfusions.
The explanatory memorandum emphasized that the government had failed to set a clear policy for disease detection, treatment and prevention.
The government has also caused damage to the livers of Egyptians through contaminated food laced with carcinogenic pesticides, expired vaccinations, and drinking water mixed with sewage.
The pollutants led to a rise in blood pressure for young people over 20 years to 26%, and the contaminated food caused 35% of the incidence of cancer.
The deputy accused the government of causing the death of hundreds of thousands of people due to liver diseases, and gross negligence in setting up a media system to prevent and limit this dangerous epidemic, and not making appropriate allocations for scientific research to find a suitable drug to treat viruses.
New documents revealed that the certificates of the Ministry of Health validating the circulation of blood transfusion bags manufactured by the “Heidlena” company are bogus and invalid. Two examination committees at Cairo University said that the company's products have 5 major defects, most notably manufacturing defects that lead to easy transmission of infection.
A recent official letter to El-Obour Health Insurance Hospital in Kafr El-Sheikh confirmed the corruption of an order for dialysis filters and hoses, which were supplied by Headlina to the hospital. The letter indicates that the filters lead to blood clots during the dialysis session, according to Al-Masry Al-Youm.
On the other hand, yesterday, the leaders of the "Heidlena" company confirmed the safety of all blood transfusion bags produced by the company, and that all bags conform to the specifications, and the Ministry of Health sent many of its inspectors and approved the use of the bags.
They added, in a press conference held at the company's headquarters in 6th of October City, that the defects in the bags were the responsibility of the Ministry of Health as a result of improper storage and misuse.
They explained that the company manufactured the "bag" with a length of 18.5 centimeters, while centrifuges in hospitals are designed with a size of 16.5 centimeters, which resulted in technical problems in the processes of sorting blood components. They added that the technical specifications are indicative and not mandatory.
On the other hand, the Legislative Committee of the People's Assembly is holding a meeting this morning to discuss the Attorney General's request to lift the immunity of Hani Sorour, deputy of the Parliament's Economic Committee, and the member's request for permission to hear his statements in the case of contaminated blood bags.
Dr. Fathi Sorour said that the Parliament does not protect anyone, nor does it cover up corruption, and it is important for it to know the truth without injustice to anyone. He added that the Council does not search for the availability or lack of evidence to convict the subject of the accusation.
While Representative Haider Baghdadi refused the committee's direction to allow Hani Sorour to give his statements, stressing his adherence to approving the Attorney General's request to lift his immunity, so that the Council would not follow the policy of double standards.

فجر مسئول صحي بالفيوم مفاجأة عندما أكد خلال جلسة مجلس الشعبي المحلي لمدينة الفيوم أن معظم محال العصائر بالمحافظة تستخدم " جراكن" مراكز الغسيل الكلوي والتي يمكن أن تكون ملوثة بفيروس " سى او بي" لتخزين العصائر.
وكان النائب فريد اسماعيل قد تقدم باستجواب الي الدكتور حاتم الجبلي وزير الصحة حول انتشار أمراض الكبد في مصر بصورة وبائية. اتهم النائب الحكومة بالفشل في السيطرة علي المرض، وقال ان حالات الاصابة والتليف والوفاة بلغت أرقاما قياسية تهدد الامن القومي لمصر.
كشفت المذكرة الايضاحية للاستجواب الذي سيدرج للمناقشة بعد قيام الحكومة بإلقاء برنامجها السنوي أمام المجلس، ان نسبة الاصابة بأمراض الكبد تبلغ 25% من مجموع السكان.
ووصلت نسبة عالية من الاصابة الي التليف والامراض السرطانية، واحتلت امراض الكبد المرتبة الاولي بين الامراض بعد ان كان في المرتبة السابعة، واصبحت الاصابة بالمرض يسيرة جدا عن طريق الحلاقة وأطباء الاسنان ونقل الدم.
وأكدت المذكرة الايضاحية ان الحكومة فشلت في وضع سياسة واضحة لاكتشاف المرض وعلاجه والوقاية منه.
كما تسببت الحكومة في افساد كبد المصريين من خلال الطعام الملوث والمطعم بالمبيدات المسرطنة والتطعيمات المهرمنة، ومياه الشرب المختلطة بالصرف الصحي.
وأدت الملوثات الي ارتفاع ضغط الدم للشباب فوق 20 سنة إلي 26% كما تسبب الطعام الملوث في 35% من الاصابة بالسرطان.
اتهم النائب الحكومة بالتسبب في وفاة مئات الألوف من أبناء الشعب بسبب أمراض الكبد، والاهمال الشديد في وضع منظومة إعلامية للوقاية والحد من هذا الوباء الخطير، وعدم وضع مخصصات مناسبة للبحث العلمي لإيجاد دواء مناسب لعلاج الفيروسات.
كشفت مستندات جديدة أن شهادات وزارة الصحة بصلاحية تداول أكياس نقل الدم المصنعة في شركة «هايدلينا» صورية وغير سليمة. وقالت لجنتا فحص بجامعة القاهرة إن منتجات الشركة بها 5 عيوب رئيسية، أبرزها عيوب تصنيع تؤدي إلي سهولة انتقال العدوي.
وأكد خطاب رسمي حديث لمستشفي العبور للتأمين الصحي بكفر الشيخ، فساد طلبية فلاتر وخراطيم الغسيل الكلوي، التي وردتها شركة «هايدلينا» للمستشفي، ويشير الخطاب إلي أن الفلاتر تؤدي إلي تجلط الدم خلال جلسة الغسيل الكلوي حسبما ذكرت المصري اليوم.
وفي المقابل أكدت أمس قيادات شركة «هايدلينا» سلامة جميع أكياس نقل الدم التي تنتجها الشركة، وأن جميع الأكياس مطابقة للمواصفات، وقامت وزارة الصحة بإرسال العديد من مفتشيها ووافقوا علي استخدام الأكياس.
وأضافوا في مؤتمر صحفي عقدوه بمقر الشركة بمدينة 6 أكتوبر، أن ما ظهر من عيوب بالأكياس هو مسؤولية وزارة الصحة نتيجة سوء التخزين وسوء الاستعمال.
وأوضحوا أن الشركة صنعت «الكيس» بطول 5،18 سنتيمتر في حين أن أجهزة الطرد المركزي بالمستشفيات مصممة علي مقاس 5،16 سنتيمتر، وهو ما نتجت عنه مشاكل فنية في عمليات فرز مكونات الدم، وأضافوا أن المواصفات الفنية استرشادية وليست إلزامية.
ومن جهة أخري تعقد اللجنة التشريعية بمجلس الشعب اجتماعاً صباح اليوم لمناقشة طلب النائب العام رفع الحصانة عن هاني سرور وكيل اللجنة الاقتصادية بالمجلس، وطلب العضو بالإذن له بسماع أقواله في قضية أكياس الدم الملوثة.
وقال الدكتور فتحي سرور إن البرلمان لا يحمي أحداً، ولا يتستر علي فساد، ويهمه معرفة الحقيقة دون ظلم لأحد. وأضاف أن المجلس لا يبحث عن توافر الأدلة أو عدم توافرها للإدانة في موضوع الاتهام، بل يقتصر بحثه علي مدي كيدية الادعاء، والإجراءات، والتحقق مما إذا كان يقصد بأي منها منع العضو من أداء مسؤولياته البرلمانية.
بينما رفض النائب حيدر بغدادي اتجاه اللجنة للسماح لهاني سرور بالإدلاء بأقواله، مؤكداً تمسكه بالموافقة علي طلب النائب العام برفع الحصانة عنه، حتي لا يتبع المجلس سياسة الكيل بمكيالين.
