“The world may be wrong, or it may also be right.” This saying also applies to hundreds of medical research papers on stroke and cancer, which after review were found to be full of scientific defects, which casts doubt on the validity of their results.
A German study and an American study showed that much medical research contains many scientific shortcomings, and it is not possible to confirm the validity of its results. This was published by the specialized magazine “Plus Biology”. According to the German study, researchers from Charite University Hospital in Berlin reviewed hundreds of studies on stroke and cancer and found out through the review that the animals that were used in many of the experiments during these studies “disappeared” and were not included in the final analyzes of the studies, which distorts Overall score.

"قد يخطئ العالم وقد يصيب أيضا"، هذه المقولة تنطبق أيضا على المئات من البحوث الطبية حول السكتة الدماغية والسرطان، تبين بعد مراجعتها أنها مليئة بالعيوب العلمية، الامر الذي يشكك في صحة نتائجها.
أظهرت دراسة ألمانية وأخرى أمريكية أن الكثير من الأبحاث الطبية تحوي العديد من النقائص العلمية، ولا يمكن التأكد من مدى صحة نتائجها. هذا ما نشرته مجلة "بلوس بايولوجي" المتخصصة. وحسب الدراسة الألمانية، فإن باحثون من مستشفى شاريتيه الجامعي في برلين، قاموا بمراجعة مئات الدراسات عن السكتة الدماغية والسرطان وتبين لهم من خلال المراجعة أن الحيوانات التي استخدمت في كثير من التجارب خلال هذه الدراسات "اختفت"، ولم يتم تضمينها في التحليلات النهائية للدراسات مما يحرف النتيجة الإجمالية.
وحسب أولريش ديرناجل أخصائي الأمراض العصبية، وأحد كبار المشاركين في الدراسة، فإن دافع الغش والاحتيال ليس متوفرا في معظم هذه الحالات، ولكن "التفكير الآمل" للمشاركين في هذه الدراسات هو السبب في ذلك، كما يقول: "كما أن الوسط العلمي الذي يكافئ الجديد الأكثر إثارة أكثر من مكافأة الأكثر دقة" هو أحد أسباب هذا القصور. ويطالب ديرناجل وزملاؤه بتوخي المزيد من الشفافية المنهجية في إعداد الدراسات ومراجعتها، وبتحسين المستوى التعليمي وبتطبيق معايير علمية أكثر صرامة عند اختيار المجلة العلمية المتخصصة الأنسب لنشر هذه الدراسات وبتغيير طريقة التفكير في وسط الدراسات الطبية العليا بشكل عام.
