واكد فريق من الباحثين من معهد ساوثويسترن الطبي بجامعة تكساس في دالاس على ضرورة ان تخضع الامهات المصابات باكتئاب للعلاج لان الفائدة لن تقتصر عليهن فقط بل ستشمل الاطفال ايضا.
وقالت الدراسة التي نشرت في عدد هذا الاسبوع من دورية الجمعية الطبية الاميركية انه من المعروف ان اصابة الاب او الام باكتئاب يؤدي الى ضغوط على سائر افراد الاسرة وغالبا ما يؤدي الى اصابة الاطفال بمشاكل عقلية.
وفحصت الدراسة حالة 151 اما من جميع انحاء البلاد تلقين علاجا وحالة طفل واحد في اسرهن في الفترة من 2001 الى 2004.
وذكر فريق البحث بان الدراسة استهدفت النساء لان معدل الاكتئاب في النساء اعلى منه في الرجال وخاصة في مرحلة انجاب الاطفال.
واكتشفت الدراسة ان ثلث الاطفال الذين عولجت امهاتهم بنجاح اختفت المشاكل التي كانوا يشكون منها وعندما لم يكن علاج الام يتم بنجاح كان معدل مشاكل الاطفال يرتفع.
واشار الباحثون الى ان هذه اول دراسة منشورة يتم فيها توثيق العلاقة بين علاج اكتئاب الامهات وبين حالة اطفالهن السريرية.

وبما أن هذا التأثير المرضي العضوي علي الطفل قد خفي علي السادة الباحثون ولم يعلموه وقد لا حظوا التحسن في حالة الطفل النفسية فقط
فقد استنبطوا أن التأثير يكون علي علم النفس كما تم ذكره
فالمرض عند الام يصيب جهازها العصبي وخلاياه العضوية الممتدة من أعماق الامعاء الي أعماق الدماغ
والمخ مما يؤثر علي سلوكها وتفكيرها وتصرفاتها
هذا بالاضافة الي مشاكل مرضية أخري بالجهاز الهضمي والاعصاب والروماتيزم وغيرها والتي أسقطوا ذكرها في الموضوع
ويجب أن تتحققوا وتتأكدوا من ذلك
وتلك الاعضاء عند الام جميعا خلايا عضوية. ومرض الخلايا العضوية لا يؤثر بالمرض عند المريض العادي
الا في خلايا عضوية أخري داخلية للمريض نفسه .
أما بالنسبة لمرض الأم : فالأمر مختلف تماما :
اذ يكون لمرض الأم دائما وجهان مرضيان آخران مجهولان .وهذا قانون يجب العمل به .
الوجه الاول لمرض الام : هو التأثير بالمرض علي أحد أطفالها .
ويتتحد الطفل من بين الاطفال للام تبعا لحالة الام المرضية وحالتها الصحية أثناء فترة الحمل بذلك الطفل .
أما بالنسبة للوحه الثاني لمرض الام :
فهو التأثير بالمرض أيضا علي الزوج وخاصة في الحالة النفسية والعصبية والاكتئاب والامراض الصدرية .
وهذه الظاهرة من الأمراض وتلك النوعية قد اكتشفناها منذ 25 عاما تقريبا وأطلقنا عليها مسمي ( الأمراض المزدوجة )
