The Cairo Investigation Department accused the university professor, Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed Gharib (58 years old), a famous internal surgeon, for accusing him of killing the electrical equipment dealer, Mohamed Mukhtar Mohamed, 47 years old, from Ain Shams, with the participation of a nurse working with the doctor in his clinic, called Mohamed Ibrahim, who resides in Manshiet Nasser.
The security services in Cairo had found a black plastic bag containing a human head, hands and arms, and another bag containing trousers, a shirt and shoes, in the Fom Al-Khaleej Bridge area.
Examining the corpse, it was found that it had been cut with a saw, and that the perpetrator set fire to the corpse in order to completely hide the features of the corpse. It was found that the accused had run over the corpse with a car.
The detectives in Cairo had great difficulty in identifying the body after the victim’s face was reconstructed. Investigations revealed that the reason for committing the crime was to take revenge on the victim, after he obtained from the doctor an amount of 170 thousand pounds to invest in the trade of electrical appliances, but the victim stumbled and refused to return the amount to the doctor, but he succeeded in obtaining prison sentences for the accused, so he paid him an amount of 70 thousand pounds and asked He decided to pay the rest, but the doctor decided to take revenge on the merchant.
Medhat Abdel-Wahhab, Director of the Prosecution of Mr. Zainab, had accompanied the second accused nurse to the crime scene in the clinic of the famous doctor in the estate No. 42 in Baghdad Street in Heliopolis. He made a photographic inspection of the incident and then ordered the nurse to be imprisoned for 4 days as a precaution pending investigation on charges of participating in the killing of the electrical equipment dealer and dismembering his body to mutilate it and throwing it away. parts of it in different neighborhoods.
The nurse made detailed confessions of the accident and its circumstances during the investigations, in which he said that the victim had a commercial relationship with the doctor, and the victim owed 170,000 pounds to the doctor, of which he paid 70,000 and was unable to pay the rest under the pretext that his business had stalled.
And on the day of the accident, he said there was an appointment for the victim to come to the clinic of the famous doctor in Heliopolis to pay the amount of 15 thousand pounds and write checks for the remaining amount in exchange for the doctor's waiver of the fraud case that he filed against him, but an altercation occurred between them because the doctor refused to give up the case.
The nurse added, saying: Dr. Muhammad Gharib threatened the victim with a gun, then hit him with it on the head and shot him in the chest, killing him. Then he cut the victim’s body using an electric saw into pieces and put it in plastic bags to hide the signs of his crime. He took the head and hands and burned them to Ali. The roof of the property and the remains of the body were thrown in several separate places in Sayeda Zeinab and the garbage bins behind Almaza Central in Heliopolis. The weapon used in the killing was also thrown in the Nile and the electric saw in Mohandessin. As for the victim’s car, he left it in the Manshiyet Nasser area.
The nurse also admitted that he participated with the doctor in dismembering the victim's body and concealing its features after the murder committed by the doctor with his own weapon.
For his part, the doctor said that when the accused came to his clinic, a verbal altercation broke out between them, so I shot him with my pistol, and he was killed on the spot.

ألقت مباحث القاهرة على الأستاذ الجامعي محمد أحمد محمد غريب (58 سنه) وهو طبيب جراح باطني شهير لاتهامه بقتل تاجر الأدوات الكهربائية محمد مختار محمد 47 سنة من عين شمس بمشاركة ممرض يعمل مع الطبيب في عيادته ويدعى محمد إبراهيم ومقيم بمنشية ناصر.
كانت أجهزة الأمن بالقاهرة قد عثرت على كيس بلاستيك أسود بداخلة رأس أدمية وكفين وذراعين وكيس أخر بداخلة بنطلون وقميص وحذاء وذلك بمنطقة كوبري فم الخليج.
تبين من معاينة الجثة أنها مقطعة بمنشار وان مرتكب الجريمة أشعل النار فى الجثة لإخفاء معالم الجثة تمام وتبين أن المتهم قام بدهس الجثة بالسيارة .
وقد لاقى رجال المباحث بالقاهرة صعوبة بالغة فى التعرف على الجثة بعد ان تم إعادة بناء وجه المجني عليه وتوصلت التحريات أن الجثة لمحمد مختار محمد حسن (47 سنه) تاجر أدوات كهربائية وأن أسرته أبلغت بغيابة منذ أيام ..وأن وراء ارتكاب الجريمة طبيب وله 3 عيادات بمصر الجديدة وشارع عبد الخالق ثروت والمهندسين وذلك بمساعدة ممرض يعمل لديه
تبين من التحريات ان سبب ارتكاب الجريمة هو الانتقام من المجني عليه بعد ان حصل من الطبيب على مبلغ 170 ألف جنية لاستثمارها فى تجارة الأدوات الكهربائية ولكن المجنى عليه تعثر ورفض رد المبلغ للطبيب ولكنه نجح فى الحصول أحكام بالحبس على المتهم فدفع له مبلغ 70 ألف جنية وطلب منه تقسيط الباقى إلا أن الطبيب قرر الانتقام من التاجر .
كان مدحت عبدالوهاب مدير نيابة السيد زينب قد اصطحب الممرض المتهم الثاني إلي مسرح الجريمة بعيادة الطبيب الشهير بالعقار رقم 42 بشارع بغداد بمصر الجديدة وأجري معاينة تصويرية للحادث وأمر بعدها بحبس الممرض 4 أيام احتياطيا علي ذمة التحقيق بتهمة الاشتراك في قتل تاجر الأدوات الكهربائية وتقطيع جثته لتشويهها وإلقاء أجزائها بأحياء مختلفة.
أدلي الممرض باعترافات تفصيلية للحادث وملابساته خلال التحقيقات قال فيها ان المجني عليه تربطه بالطبيب علاقة تجارية وكان المجني عليه مدينا بمبلغ 170 ألف جنيه للطبيب سدد منها 70 ألفاً وعجز عن سداد الباقي بحجة تعثر تجارته.
وعن يوم الحادث قال كان هناك موعدا لحضور المجني عليه إلي عيادة الطبيب الشهير بمصر الجديدة لسداد مبلغ 15 ألف جنيه وتحرير شيكات بالمبلغ المتبقي مقابل تنازل الطبيب عن قضية النصب التي أقامها ضده لكن حدثت مشادة بينهما لرفض الطبيب تنازله عن القضية.
أضاف الممرض قائلا: ان الدكتور محمد غريب قام بتهديد المجني عليه بمسدس ثم ضربه به علي رأسه وأطلق عليه عيارا ناريا أصابه في صدره وأسقطه قتيلا بعدها قام بتقطيع جثة المجني عليه باستخدام منشار كهربائي إلي أشلاء ووضعها في أكياس بلاستيك لإخفاء معالم جريمته وأخذ الرأس والكفين وأحرقهما علي سطح العقار وألقي أشلاء الجثة في عدة أماكن متفرقة بالسيدة زينب وصناديق القمامة خلف سنترال ألماظة بمصر الجديدة كما ألقي السلاح المستخدم في القتل بالنيل والمنشار الكهربائي بالمهندسين أما سيارة المجني عليه فتركها بمنطقة منشأة ناصر.
كما اعترف الممرض بأنه شارك الطبيب في تمزيق جثة المجني عليه وإخفاء معالمها بعد جريمة القتل التي ارتكبها الطبيب بسلاحه الخاص.
ومن جانبه قال الطبيب أنه عندما حضر إليه المتهم فى عيادته نشبت بينهما مشادة كلامية فقمت بإطلاق النار عليه من مسدسي فلقي مصرعه في الحال.
