Marital disputes cause depression and chronic diseases for women

Cairo: A recent scientific study revealed that permanent marital disputes affect the wife with depression, high blood pressure and obesity.
The Egyptian newspaper "Al-Ahram" reported that Dr. Atef Ezzat, a consultant in psychiatry and neurology at Mansoura University, warned in his study that marital disputes also lead to chronic diseases, clogged arteries and diabetes.
The study explained the reason why men who are exposed to the same charged atmosphere do not suffer from depression or disease symptoms such as those experienced by wives.
The study also revealed the impact of marital tension and emotional disturbances on the psychological state of wives, who become volatile

القاهرة: كشفت دراسة علمية حديثة ان الخلافات الزوجية الدائمة تصيب الزوجة بالاكتئاب وارتفاع ضغط الدم والسمنة‏.
وذكرت صحيفة "الأهرام" المصرية أن الدكتور عاطف عزت استشاري الأمراض النفسية والعصبية بجامعة المنصورة‏ حذر في دراسته من أن الخلافات الزوجية تؤدي أيضا إلي الاصابة بالامراض المزمنة وانسداد الشرايين والسكر‏.
وفسرت الدراسة سبب عدم اصابة الرجال الذين يتعرضون لنفس الأجواء المشحونة بالاكتئاب أو أعراض مرضية كالتي تتعرض لها الزوجات‏,‏ بأن النساء تغلب عليهن العاطفة فيتأثرن بصورة عميقة نتيجة أي خلاف حتي لو كان عابرا في حياتهن الزوجية‏.‏
الدراسة كشفت أيضا عن تأثير توتر العلاقات الزوجية والاضطرابات العاطفية علي الحالة النفسية للزوجات التي تصبح متقلبة‏.‏
